In addition to following normal manuscript citation conventions,
include these elements when citing records found "electronically"
through The Adult Education History Project: Main entry, Title, Item number,
and, if a specific image is being cited, Component number. Mention, too, that
the record was found in "http://www-distance.syr.edu/history.html,
an Electronic Source for Syracuse University Library's database for archives
and manuscripts".

{7:34:113:I:336,393:1983,1497}JACQUES, JOSEPH W. TAPE RECORDINGS, 1972 21 reels of magnetic tape in 2 archival
boxes (.75 linear ft.) Background Sketch Joseph Jacques, now on the faculty of Montclair State College in
New Jersey, received help on his doctorate in Adult Education from Syracuse
University. He based his dissertation upon 21 extended taped interviews he
conducted with 11 established leaders in the field of Adult Education in the
United States. Those interviewed were Mary Armstrong, R.J. Blakely, Leland P.
Bradford, Mary Louise Collings, Paul L. Essert, Wilbur C. Hallenbeck, Sam Hand,
Andrew Hendrickson, Eugene I. Johnson, Howard Y. McClusky, and Ralph B. Spence.
Following a format of structured questions, but allowing for free-wheeling
discussion, Jacques' tapes probe the leaders' formative lives and educational
experiences; their philosophies of living and of education; and their beliefs
and opinions concerning current trends and the status of adult education in the
United States. These 21. reels of recordings were made between March and May of
1972, and include much material not contained within Jacques' formal dissertation.
